Our Process
Videofluoroscopy
Advancements in technology have led to one of the safest and most accurate forms of spinal analysis, motion x-ray. This tool has been specially
modified for chiropractic to use up to 90% less exposure than conventional x-ray when doing a motion spinal exam. In addition, research has proven
that Chiropractors who are trained in its use have an 80 to 90% reproducibility quotient. Most importantly, to the patient this means a safer and
more precise form of spinal analysis resulting in effective and affordable spinal care. In our office we implore the use of Motion X-Ray
which uses less exposure than conventional x-ray technology.
Traditional films are necessary initially to reveal pathologies, show the history of spinal health, and make your spinal care more precise. Today’s
high tech equipment and ultra-sensitive films minimize exposure to radiation.
Infrared testing
Infrared tools are used extensively by the US Military Forces as well as the Law enforcement and in most scientific chiropractic
research.
In our office we use a tool called “Thermography” which means Heat Graph. This tool uses the same ultra-sensitive infrared sensor to record
heat patterns radiating from your body. Research has shown that abnormally functioning human cells give off a different heat reading than normal
healthy cells. This tool helps the Chiropractor identify areas of your body which are not healing properly (abnormal thermal emissions)
and measure your progress along with your treatment. This helps us to “fine tune” your spinal care maximizing your results. Studies in our
clinic have proven this tool reduces the amount of care needed by up to 70%, making it a useful tool to optimize your care and save time and
money while delivering precision scientific spinal corrective care.
Precision Spinal Adjuster
Once problems in your spine have been identified a process of correcting those “subluxations” begins.
In our office we implore the use of very specific spinal adjustments. One of our tools is called a "precision spinal adjusting instrument".
This tool is connected to a sophisticated computer program which allows the chiropractor to set the frequency and force needed to re-align
and correct your spine. Research has shown that each bone in your spine reacts differently to various forces and frequencies. Finding the
perfect combination improves the effectiveness of the adjustment.
It is similar to a specific key working a specific lock. Scientists have tested and reported the optimum forces and frequency combinations
for each vertebra in your spine. The use of these varying combinations aid in the correction of each individual vertebra in the spine, making
this tool is essential in the fine tuning and correction of spinal subluxations.
Drop Table
As spinal analysis has improved so have the methods of spinal adjusting.
Spinal adjusting when done properly creates healing miracles in patients. We here at Crist Family Chiropractic have put a lot of time and
energy in first giving you the most accurate spinal analysis possible, then finally correcting your spine using the same focus.
Drop table adjustments are very comfortable, safe, and effective. The table itself is designed to have a small drop in it. This table
has eliminated the need to “twist” or “crack” the spine. Most of our patients are grateful that we use this style of adjusting. Our
patient’s fast healing results along with our exceptional spinal correction x-rays have proven that precision analysis along with
precision correction go hand and hand in achieving OUTSTANDING RESULTS.
